Welcome, I’m grateful, you’ve dropped by. I’ve recapped to the best of my ability (brain fog) my story in a series of Mémoir’s on this site. I share this personal journey in the hope that I can give some solace and hope to anyone else going through similar things. Our hormones play such a great role in our health. I’ll be sharing information I found out along the way, that perhaps had I known about and adopted when I was fit and healthy, may not have set me on this path. This is about Women’s Health and what you can do to stay in your optimum. Giving your body what it NEEDS to work at its best…
Awareness is everything, knowing what to look for, realising and acting on warning signs, this can makes a huge difference. I named this site Pause With Me, to pause momentarily to learn, become aware & act, when you need to, better choices that serve, not harm our whole being.
Whilst I’m not 100% recovered, I am happy to say I’m well on my way, I’ve had lots of challenges and its’ been a long haul but things are looking up. My blood work is getting where it needs to be, life is starting to be enjoyable again and more importantly, I’m feeling better & can’t wait to participate in life again, I’ve been mia for too long.
I hope you find the information interesting, I certainly did whilst I was learning & living it. A realisation that I didn’t really know much about my body and how it worked, what it needed and why it needed it. Women’s health, we all need to look after one another and help each other out…… maybe I’ll see you in the comments or you can email me via the Contact Me function. I’d love to hear from you.
The information on this site is not intended to replace a Medical Practitioner, they are true accounts of what I learnt & implemented in my Health Journey. I worked with my gut instinct & Functional Medical Practitioners throughout this process, including Holistic GP, Chiropractor, Naturopath, Kinesiologist, Nutritionist, Dietician & Holistic Dentist.
